OLD NEWS:

11/1/07 - Hey, there are some shows in the pipeline, but nothing definite yet. We will post any news as soon as we know it.

10/8/07 - We did a theme song for the Steelyard's soapbox racing team The Belles and Whistles. They will be racing in the Red Bull Soapbox Race in Providence on 10/13/07. Listen to the song here, and note the sweet recorder solo.

9/6/07 - Hey, we are playing at Machines With Magnets on Saturday night as part of their one year anniversary party and the Pawtucket Arts Festival. There are a ton of awesome bands playing like: Daughters, The White Mice, Wizzards, The Awesome Bros, Neptune [boston], Dirty on Purpose [nyc], Badman, Sweethieves, Animal Hospital[boston], Lolita Black, Howl, Sick Electric, Area C, Txoca Txoca, Jared Paul, Déjà Vu Mountain, Eyes Like Saucers. I think we play at around 10 pm, I think. I don't know when our next show is going to be, so come out and see us while you can!

8/29/07 - For a minute there, we thought we were going to play a show at AS220 tonight to fill in for Triangle Forest, but it turned out to be a false alarm. However, I would like to take this opportunity to say to anyone who actually reads this web page that we will play anywhere at any time for anyone. All you have to do is ask.

8/9/07 - Come see us tonight at Okie Street! We are playing with They Shoot Horses and I think two other bands, but I'm not sure what the other two bands are.

8/1/07 - We have some shows coming up in early August! Come and see what all the fuss is about if you are in Providence or Boston during the next couple of weeks.
Also, we wanted to mention that our animator friends, Dan and Jason, have been using some of our music for their animated shorts. One of their "Office Buddies" animations will be on TV at some point, but we don't know all the details yet. I think it may involve our song THE CLAW.

6/22/07 - We've updated the look of our website to make it more "trendy." There are some new videos, pictures, and links. Be sure to check out our 10 part video series, "The Hard Thoughts of Geniuses." No new music to post yet... we are working on it.

6/18/07 - We are playing a benefit for Providence Libraries this Friday at Firehouse 13 with UV Protection and Piles. Doors open at 7:00. We are going to play some new and some old songs with new videos from the Magic Lantern show sprinkled in-between. So check it out and tell us what you think. We need your support because we are incredibly sensitive and self-concious.

6/13/07 - We will be showing some new videos at the Magic Lantern film show in Providence tonight. For everyone who can't make the show, we will be posting the videos (The Hard Thoughts of Geniuses) on the site soon... SOON.

2/2/07 - The Flavor Cave was Awesome! Thanks to everyone who came, the bands who played, and the people involved in making it happen. We will update the site soon with pictures and video of the shows, but first we want to sleep a bit.
Also, on 2/3/07 we are playing at the CD release party for UV Protection at Art Interactive (CCTV), 130 Bishop Allen Drive Prospect Street (Corner of Prospect & Mass Ave) Cambridge, MA. The show starts at 8pm and is $10. See you there!

12/30/06 - There are many new things going on for the Awesome Brothers. We are hosting a month long music/art/film series called the Flavor Cave. The cave will be open during the last three weekends in January at Firehouse 13 in Providence. We have found many awesome bands, perfomers, and films to show, and the installation should look crazy! So come on out and join us, the Flavor Cave awaits you!
 Also, not to be overshadowed by the Flavor Cave, is the imminent release of our first album, 300%. It features 10 awesome songs and some enhanced video content as well. Look for it at a record store near you! There are some tracks for download on our music page, so check it out! We so happy with this album and owe a debt of gratitude to everyone involved in the project, especially Clay Rockefeller, Dave Auchenbach, and Jim Drain. You are our #1 guys.
